Replicating Apple’s UI elements to the very pixel is always a fun challenge. Coding them to be as simple as possible to use is even more fun. So when @jpmartineau tweeted he needed something like that HUD iOS shows on orientation, mute and volume change for his Epic Synth, I felt like I was up to task, especially since it pretty much sounded like a stripped down version of SVProgressHUD.

Here’s SVStatusHUD, my 7th Github release. It mimics the HUD shown on orientation lock, mute and volume change on iOS. It should only be used in response to hardware or other important notifications (for instance when an accessory is detected by your app). It features:
